ARE YOUR BOARD MEMBERS AB 2158 TRAINED?

In 2022 Governor Newsom approved Assembly Bill 2158 (“AB 2158”), which requires “local agency officials” of school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools to receive two hours of ethics training before January 1, 2026, and then at least once every two years thereafter. This requirement does not apply to officials whose term of office will end before January 1, 2026.
