The U.S. Department of Education has issued final guidance on the collection of race and ethnicity data for district students and staff. Based upon these new guidelines, the California Department of Education (“CDE”) has revised its data collection requirements using teh California Pupil Achievement Longitudinal Data System (CALPADS)., search terms: Race and ethnicity data, race, ethnicity, CDE, CALPADS, data collection.
