This update serves as a reminder that, pursuant to Penal Code section 11166.5, any school employee who is a mandated reporter, as a pre-requisite of employment, must sign a statement that he/she has knowledge of the child abuse reporting requirements for mandated reporters set forth in Penal Code section 11166. The signed employee statements shall be retained by the District.
