Repeal of Travel Restriction on Employee Receiving Industrial Accident or Illness Leave of Absence – AB 915 (CCD)
Effective January 1, 2016, Assembly Bill (“AB”) 915 repealed the travel restriction on an employee receiving industrial accident or illness leave of absence in accordance with Education Code sections 87787 and 88192.

Effective January 1, 2016, Assembly Bill (“AB”) 915 repealed the travel restriction on an employee receiving industrial accident or illness leave of absence in accordance with Education Code sections 87787 and 88192.
Prior to January 1, 2016, employees receiving industrial accident or illness leave of absence were required to remain within the State of California during the period of injury or illness unless the governing board authorized the travel.
